The Conscious Generation

Privacy Policy

Last updated: 4 November 2026

You trust us with a little of yourself when you join our waitlist, our newsletter or our circle of co-creators. We hold that with care. This page explains, in plain words, what we collect, why, who helps us, how long we keep it, and how you stay in control.

We do not sell your information. We do not run advertising on this site.

1. Who we are

The Conscious Generation ("TCG", "we", "us") runs wearetheconsciousgeneration.com. For anything about your privacy, write to us at hello@wearetheconsciousgeneration.com.

2. What we collect

What you give us

  • Waitlist: your name and email address.
  • Newsletter: your email address.
  • Co-creator application: your name, email address, your field, and anything you choose to tell us about your work, including any website or social media links you share.
  • Emails you send us: your message and your contact details.

Required fields: your name and email for the waitlist; your email for the newsletter; your email for a co-creator application. Everything else is up to you.

What we collect automatically

  • How you found us: when you visit, we note the link that brought you (for example a campaign tag such as "instagram", or the site that referred you) and the page you first landed on, and keep this with a waitlist or newsletter sign-up. This tells us which conversations are reaching people.
  • How the site is used: pages viewed, the device and browser type, and general location (country and city level). In the European Economic Area (the EU, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway), the UK and Switzerland, and wherever we cannot tell your country, this is counted without cookies or any identifier stored on your device until you accept analytics cookies (see section 4).
  • Your country: estimated from your IP address so we know which privacy settings apply to you. We do not store your country or your IP address; your browser keeps only whether the stricter settings apply, for your current tab.
  • Technical logs: our hosting and video providers keep short-lived server logs, including IP addresses, to run the site securely.
  • Your privacy choice: we remember whether you accepted or declined analytics cookies.

We make no automated decisions about you.

You can withdraw consent at any time: unsubscribe from any email, change your cookie choice under "" in the footer, or write to us.

4. Analytics and cookies

We use four measurement tools, set up to respect your choice:

  • PostHog (hosted in the EU). Before you choose, and if you decline, PostHog counts visits without cookies or stored identifiers. If you accept, it uses a cookie and your browser's local storage so we can understand a visit across pages.
  • Google Analytics. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, and wherever we cannot tell your country, it loads only after you accept. Elsewhere it loads by default; choosing "Reject" turns it off.
  • Vercel Web Analytics: anonymous page counts, with no cookies.
  • Vercel Speed Insights: anonymous measurements of how quickly pages load, with no cookies.

If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as "Reject".

Our Cookie Policy lists every cookie, what it does and how long it lasts.

5. Who helps us

We share information only with the services that help us run TCG, and only what each needs:

We do not sell your personal information or share it for cross-context advertising.

We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or the site. If TCG ever becomes part of another organisation, your information would move with it under this policy.

When we open programs for purchase, payment and video services will join this list, and we will update this page before then.

6. International transfers

Some of our providers process information in the United States. Where the law requires, these transfers are protected by safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep it

  • Waitlist, newsletter and applications: until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, or three years after we were last in touch, whichever comes first.
  • Emails you send us: as long as the conversation needs, then up to three years.
  • Analytics: Google Analytics keeps data for up to 14 months. PostHog keeps usage data as set in our account, then deletes it.
  • Technical logs: a few days to a few weeks, as our providers set.
  • Your cookie choice: six months, then we ask again.

8. Your rights

Wherever you live, you can:

  • ask what information we hold about you, and get a copy;
  • ask us to correct it or delete it;
  • unsubscribe from our emails at any time;
  • change your cookie choice at any time.

If you live in the EEA, the UK or Switzerland, you also have the right to object to or restrict how we use your information, to receive it in a portable format, and to complain to your local data protection authority. Residents of California and Australia have similar rights under their laws, and you will not be treated differently for using them. In Australia, you can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner. The services that receive your information, and the countries where they work, are listed under "Who helps us" (section 5).

To use any of these rights, write to hello@wearetheconsciousgeneration.com. We reply within 30 days.

9. Children

TCG is for adults. Our site is not meant for anyone under 16, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has shared information with us, tell us and we will delete it.

10. Keeping it safe

Access to your information is limited to the people who need it to run TCG. Our database is protected by access rules, connections are encrypted, and our providers maintain their own security programs. No system is perfect, so if something ever goes wrong, we will tell you and the authorities as the law requires.

11. Links to other sites

Our site links to places such as Instagram. Their own privacy policies apply there.

12. Changes to this policy

When we change how we handle information, we update this page and the date at the top. If a change matters to you, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

13. Contact

Questions, requests or concerns: hello@wearetheconsciousgeneration.com. We read every message ourselves.
